In your 8 days inspirational wildlife safari in Tanzania you are going to explore remote inside the national parks for 6 days, where as the rest days stand for arrival and departing date which includes overnights and dinner in Arusha.

Book your flights to arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport to meet our participants for the transfer to your stay pre-arranged by us in Arusha. Kilimanjaro airport has only one terminal and effortlessly you will find us holding our logo and your names as you arrival from the arrival hall just outside. Our representatives will aid you to relax into your comfortable vehicle and drive to Arusha. Finally meet your hotel for the rest of the day, dinner and overnight.
Road Trip: JRO airport to Arusha
Arusha is a safari centre of Tanzania which located at 55km trip on a tarmac road from Kilimanjaro Airport. On your trip you will see natives and their occupations and if not clouds you may also see Mount Kilimanjaro. As your approaches to Arusha, mount Meru is your backdrop to every photo you make towards it.
After a breakfast which start around 7:30AM follows a short briefing in the morning before you head off in direction of the Tarangire National Park.
On your briefings our guides will remind you to take long sleeves and warm clothes for the evening which can be also very useful during the game viewings in Tarangire national park. Camera and binoculars will make your safari even more marvelous while sunscreen is essential since mostly sunny in tropical and equator strips.
Road Trip: Arusha to Tarangire
Relax on your comfortable 4x4 land cruiser as we head westward from Arusha on 120km tarmac road to Tarangire. Your road trip begins from your stay in Arusha in the morning across the mixed farms of bananas and coffee.
After several miles on drive you will start seeing Maasai villages and possibly Maasai herders who often lead their flocks of cattle to new pastures here. Across these Maasai steppe vegetations dotted by rare scattered acacia trees is home and grazing land of these natives in Tanzania. The final minutes as you get closer to Tarangire safari gate are the hand makes and souvenir shops. After a 2hours travel start your game drive in Tarangire.
Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
The park with its savannah, baobab trees, seasonal swamps and lagoons is home to huge elephant herds. Animals gather at the life-giving Tarangire River and you should see a selection of mammals ranging from giraffes, bushbucks and hartebeests to the weird-looking gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals effortlessly.
In your typical day game drive possibly seeing tallest giraffes feeding shrubs and buds over acacia trees, Tarangire is home to the huge elephants which take their moves with the slow moving African sky. Keep calm to the most temperament herds of buffalo which often feed on baobab bark to suck water from it in the dry season. On your game watching perhaps straggle for a capture to mongoose, which often does not give a chance for photograph to every traveler travelling here. Grazer call it home, possibly enjoy a visit to see wildebeests, zebra and gazelles feeding on grassland before they join their predators down the Tarangire river banks to drink. You may have a chance to visit few swamps to scan for other wild animals including Kudu and other antelopes before we drive to enjoy the other pleasurable services on your stay.
In the late afternoon you will arrive at your accommodation inside the park, where you are going to spend your night after dinner by the staff on your stay pre-arranged by us.

Breakfast will be at your accommodation in Arusha where as lunch will be picnic lunch box in one site inside Tarangire national park. At evening enjoy your dinner by your accommodation today. Just relax if any special food requirement but only let us notified in the reservation. If that not enough drinking water is included in your safari.
After breakfast we checkout and leave the Tarangire National Park heading to the multicultural village of Mto wa Mbu. From here you will travel on a spectacular and very bumpy gravel road along the Rift Valley Escarpment with Ol Doinyo Lengai “the holy mountain” of the Maasai in the distance. Expect that Natron is hotter than Tarangire, you may not like warm clothes but still sunscreen and long sleeves can be essential.
Road Trip: Tarangire to Natron
Natron is located as far as 3 hours rough road trip from Tarangire. On your trip you will see Maasai natives and their occupations, the Rift Valley and as you are approaching Lake Natron, awe-inspiring coned like and volcanic active Mount Oldonyo Lengai is your backdrop to every photo you make on.
Lake Natron
Today’s destination is the beautiful Maasai village of Ngare Sero, an oasis in the hot and dusty Rift Valley. In the distance you will notice a pink glow from thousands of flamingos breeding and feeding on the algae of the alkaline Lake Natron. In the afternoon you will join a native Maasai guide for culture spying and on a walk to a nearby waterfall before you return to your pre-booked stay for your overnight.

After an early start, you will travel along adventurous dirt tracks with breathtaking views as your vehicle climbs out of the Rift Valley to reach the grassy plains of the Serengeti by midday. Serengeti means “endless plains” in the language of the Maasai and you will see the grassland savannah stretching to the horizon.
Road trip: Natron to North Serengeti
From your stay heading westward across Maasai villages follows Wasso village then climb Rift Valley via Kleins gate of Serengeti with an advantage to enter Serengeti in the northeast which takes about 5 to 6 hours on a rough road to Lobo for game drive and en route to your stay in Serengeti.
Game Drive in Serengeti
The Serengeti is the most famous park in Tanzania and it is home to the largest animal migration on the planet – hundreds of thousands of animals trek to find fresh grass and water. You will overnight stay in the northern or central part of the park depend on seasonal impression of wildlife.
On your game drive in Serengeti possibly experiencing the mazes of elephant wrinkles, stay closer to see the shaggy geometry of a zebra belly or perhaps a warthog ecstatic expression as a family of hungry mongooses harvest ticks from its thick skin. On your game sittings perhaps to an ambush spots, wallows or finding exact trees/ termite where cheetahs prefer to pee; your expert driver guide will try his best to aid your dreams come true.
Depend on season you might go to witness the wandering wildlife migrants crossing the Mara River in Kogatende and if time is not at hand your experience you will have a day for it by tomorrow.

Expect three meals per day which are breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinking water of which breakfast and lunch will be prepared by your stay in Lake Natron. At evening you will enjoy your dinner in your stay in Serengeti.
Today you will either go on a full day game drive or join early morning and afternoon drives in the Seronera area or continue staying on north Serengeti and drive to central Serengeti afternoon, depending on last night’s stop and impressions. Between December and May huge herds of wildebeests and zebras will be seen, with calves and foals being born between January and March. The Seronera area is also the best place to spot the shy and nocturnal leopard. When in season perhaps on your experience in Kogatende to witness Mara River crossing, you may need to tolerate your capture on river bank in anticipation of a wildebeest crossing or perhaps lioness hunting on wildebeest on their trails. Either you might be lucky to spot hunting. Here you need to be tolerant on game watching hunting need time, pursue and wait no chasing or may be stalking and a strong bite. You will see lions, cheetah and or leopard in Serengeti.
You will spend the night at the lodge in the Seronera area afternoon. On your experience in Seronera, more suddenly than expected possibly travel to Retima pool or other strange ponds or muddy pools where 3,000kg hippo popped up from water with its pink ears pert and alert. Possibly to see an elephant family gathers against the backdrop of an approaching storm and African partial cloud sky. You might be on sight with those coward warthogs famous as the day animals as they spent most their time looking for food in the day time. Possibly have a funny capture of warthogs kneeing on the front knees while feeding and foraging in a localized area around wet area or on grasslands. Viably and rare seeing them sheltering in burrows at evening in which they enter tail lasting their heads as it is their sleeping habit. Hold your camera on the marvelous giraffes often eating leaves and buds on acacia trees or other shrubs. You may even come across wild animal carcass despite the horrific smell; you will be impressed by hyenas feeding on carcasses perhaps of a zebra ribs, gazelle head or buffalo head.

Morning Game-drive in Serengeti
The morning is set aside for another game drive in the Serengeti and you might spot some creatures that you haven’t seen yet. Animals tend to be more active in the morning before the temperatures soar around midday. On your game drive in the morning enjoy see animal looking for meals, maybe predator on hunt or ungulates grazing on the vast plain of Serengeti. Morning game-drive in Serengeti will offer a great chance to enjoy sunrise and its horizons here. Not to forget small animals, perhaps agama lizard and other reptiles, wildcat, serval cat, ear-foxes, rare wild dog, and pimbi “hyrax”.
Road trip: Game enroute from Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Your road travel is a trip which includes enroute game watching as we drive from Serengeti after lunch to get the crater rim of Ngorongoro in the late afternoon. Here you will have a chance to scan wildlife while traveling along the route perhaps seeing lions, zebra, giraffe, birds, cheetah or may be leopard. Afternoon, you will leave the plains of the Serengeti and travel to the highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will stay at the lodge directly on the Ngorongoro Crater’s edge or transfer for a viewpoints to view over the collapsed volcano. It is a perfect spot to enjoy a sundowner at sunset at your lodge in Ngorongoro.

Breakfast and Lunch will be at your accommodation in Serengeti, you may opt light breakfast to enjoy early morning game and back for brunch otherwise full breakfast following lunch at your stay in Serengeti. At evening enjoy your dinner by your accommodation in Ngorongoro with drinking water well included in your tour.
Rise and shine! It is up at daybreak to take on the steep path leading down into the 600 m deep crater. The slopes are forested but soon the landscape changes to savannah with the occasional acacia tree here and there. The wildlife in the crater is just breath-taking and with a little luck you might see the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. You should also see warthogs, wildebeests, zebras, hippos and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area.
After an entire morning of game viewing and a picnic lunch in the crater, you will travel to Arusha where you will overnight preparing for your departure by tomorrow.

Breakfast and lunch will be served by your accommodation in Ngorongoro. You may opt to either eat breakfast and hot lunch after game drive or take a picnic lunch box to take it at Ngoitoktok picnic site.
Road trip: Travel from Ngorongoro to Arusha
Your road travel from Ngorongoro will head eastward across the Great Rift Valley escarpment and may be a chance to optional visit the view points of Lake Manyara on your trip back to Arusha. If that not enough you will have a chance to visit and buy handcrafts on the way to Arusha. Dinner and overnight in the pre-arranged stay in Arusha.
A Free Maasai Boma and Cultural Handcrafts
We provide a free visit to the Maasai boma and to handcrafts and souvenirs shopping after safari. After game drive in Ngorongoro crater we are going to visit Maasai boma to experience Maasai culture in glance following a visit to the handcraft shopping. You can experience the drawings, handcrafts and other souvenirs and may be to pick your choice and buy.
Book your flight to depart from Kilimanjaro Airport to make full use of our transfer service, but also domestic flights can depart from Arusha airport including flights to Zanzibar. Today no activities are included. After a leisurely breakfast, you will start your return trip to the airport.
